Meet Our Staff
Alina Love-Moore, FNP-C - Nurse Practitioner + Owner
HI, I’M ALINA MARIE LOVE-Moore, FNP-C.
A little about me…
I grew up in Northern Minnesota, and I mean Northern!! I was about 30 miles south of the Canadian border as the crow flies. I could not wait to get out of that ice box! I spent 3 years in Germany and a year in Florida before making Colorado my home. Aside from a brief 2 year sojourn to the east coast I have been in one part of Colorado or another ever since. I love this state and it is truly my home. My husband Charlie and I recently relocated from Elizabeth Colorado to the Cog above Hayden. I lived in Oak Creek what seem like a lifetime ago in the late 1990’s, and true to form the “Yampa Valley Curse” proved itself! We are thrilled to be part of this vibrant community.
We have a crew, including pigs and cattle that we produce for our friends and family, horses and the pre-requisite dogs and cats. I love skiing, horse riding (I ride English), reading and all things mountains.
I have an adult son who lives in Moore, Oklahoma with his wife and soon to be grandbaby.
I truly believe that what we put in our bodies, on our bodies and do with our bodies are the foundation to health and wellness. I am passionate about treating the whole person, not just for a long life, but for a well life.
Lanie Schmidt, Patient Experience Coordinator
HI, I’M Lanie!
I am so excited to meet you!
I’m a true Colorado native—born and raised. After completing college in Phoenix, AZ at Grand Canyon University (Lopes Up!), I’ve lived in four different states in just two years: Arizona, Colorado, California, and now Oklahoma. It’s safe to say I’ve gained a deep appreciation for a variety of climates, experiences, and the unique beauty each state offers—though Colorado will always be my favorite!
In addition to the incredible opportunity to work alongside my mother-in-law and support her small business, I am a firm believer in whole-body wellness. My five years working at a massage therapy studio as a front desk representative showed me just how important it is to approach each person not only as an individual, but as a whole. I’ve seen firsthand the impact that the “modern” healthcare system can have—both in my own life and in the lives of those I love. I believe everyone deserves access to medical care that supports them holistically through every stage of life—whether they are well, sick, or injured. True wellness goes beyond what looks good on paper; it’s about genuinely thriving. That’s why I believe so strongly in the DPC model, it goes above and beyond what the traditional healthcare system can accomplish. I am incredibly proud to join Alina in her work and grateful to help bring this kind of care to you.
A little more about me personally: I married my wonderful husband (Alina’s son) in August of 2024, and he has been my constant through all of life’s changes. Together, we have a German Shepherd mix named Sebastian, whom my husband has had since he was a puppy. I’m also an aquatic hobbyist and enjoy raising freshwater shrimp, frogs, snails, and a variety of plants! We love adventure—hiking, skiing, cliff jumping, and spending time in the ocean. We both look forward to the day we can call Colorado home again.
We are especially excited as we anticipate the arrival of our son—our first baby and the first grandchild on both sides—this May! We can’t wait to step into parenthood and embrace all the joy, challenges, and growth that come with it.
I look forward to supporting you on your wellness journey!
